Turkmenistan visa requirements
All foreign nationals are required to have business or tourist visas to enter into the country. The visas are delivered on basis of issued visa support letter, referred also as Letter of Invitation (LOI), from a licensed travel agency in Turkmenistan

Turkmenistan Visa Support conditions
Visa support letter is arranged together with Entry Travel Pass & registration inside of the country & Owadan Tourism can provide you with these if you order a tour or do hotel reservation through our agency for the duration of your stay.

We need the following to begin the visa support procedure

• Fill out Turkmenistan visa support form (LOI)
• A good quality scanned copy of your passport sent by e-mail

Having the above information we’ll prepare a visa support application & submit it to the State Service of Turkmenistan, in Ashgabat. The approval process takes about 15 days. After it issued we’ll send the scanned copy of it on your e-mail address & having it you can apply for the visa at any Embassy of Turkmenistan abroad. Exceptions are Embassy in Iran & Moscow where the original of a visa support letter are required; in this case we’ll post the original of it to the Embassy in Moscow or Teheran as separate arrangement.

Pls. kindly note: The State Service of Turkmenistan reserves the right to reject any application for the visa support letter without providing further explanations.

Where to apply for Turkmenistan visa?
In Turkmenistan Embassies or Consulates abroad.
Also you can choose to obtain visas directly at the borders – Farap, Dashoguz, Kunya Urgench (border with Uzbekistan), Turkmenbashy port or at airport in Ashgabat, if you haven’t enough time to do it at Embassies or you haven’t Turkmenistan Embassy in your country.

Turkmenistan Visa Application requirements:

• Visa support letter (LOI),
• Valid passport (at least 6 months validity before arrival in the country),
• 1 passport-size photo,
• Consular fee, payable on applying for visa
• Completed application form
